MEET THE OWNER AND CEO INGRACE CANADA FARMS LTD
The owner, Chinedu Hilary Onu, is a Nigerian-born entrepreneur with extensive experience in the automobile, transportation and agriculture sectors. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Ingrace Multiple Concept Ltd., a company incorporated in Nigeria.
Founded in 2005, Ingrace Multiple Concept Ltd. has built a strong reputation for excellence in agribusiness and the development of high-quality products. Through one of its divisions, CandyHill Global Enterprise Ltd., the company supports food security, job creation, sustainable development and self-reliance through agricultural enterprise.
Ingrace Multiple Concept Ltd. also provides a broad range of services in areas such as automobile sales and servicing, transportation and logistics, oil and gas, technical and vocational education, and event management.
As part of the company’s expansion into Canada, Mr. Onu incorporated Ingrace Canada Farms Ltd. in Saskatchewan, with its head office in Regina. The Canadian operation produces a range of agricultural products, including beef, hay, flowers, gourmet mushrooms and microgreens.
Mr. Onu selected Regina as the company’s base of operations because of its strategic location as the capital of Saskatchewan and the province’s second-largest city after Saskatoon.
Located in the heart of the Canadian Prairies, Saskatchewan contains more than 40 per cent of Canada’s cultivated farmland, including some of the most productive agricultural land in the world. With its extensive land base and collaborative approach to crop development and agricultural research, Saskatchewan is playing an increasingly important role in supplying food to a rapidly growing global population.
